Our company carries out the development of fire protection projects (FPP) for coal and iron ore mines, quarries, crushing factories, ore-dressing plants, cyclic-flow technology complexes, and other underground excavations.
According to the Safety Rules, each mine, both under construction and in operation, in order to prepare it for the elimination of possible fires, must be provided with fire protection, for which fire protection projects are prepared. These projects should provide fire protection of both the surface technological complex of the mine and all underground excavations. In the fire protection projects of the mines, it is envisaged to use all active drainage lines, irrigation systems, air lines, special fire-prevention pipelines for firefighting purposes.
In all underground workings of mines it is necessary to have fire extinguishing means: fire extinguishers, sand, etc. In order to prevent the burning of mine structures, it is necessary to use non-combustible materials during the construction, the degree of fire resistance of which must not be lower than the requirements stipulated in the Safety Rules. If metal or reinforced linings are used for support of underground mine workings, wooden linings should not be used. Particular attention should be given to the protection of mine shafts , through which fresh air is supplied to the mine during the equipment of the fire protection of mines.
